2-Marchukovsky Rural House of Culture
About
The 2-Marchukovskiy Rural Community Center is more than just a cultural institution; it's a true hub of creativity and warmth for the residents of Marchuki 2.
A Brief History
The Community Center opened its doors to visitors in 1983. A significant turning point in its history occurred in 2007, when the institution moved into the building of a former kindergarten. The new 351 m² space includes a spacious auditorium with seating for 60.
What's going on behind the walls of the Community Center
A vibrant creative life thrives within the walls of the 2-Marchukovskiy Rural Community Center. Everyone will find something to enjoy:
interest groups and clubs;
amateur art groups;
a variety of cultural events.
The famous "Russian Soul" ensemble
The institution's special pride is the "Russian Soul" folk song ensemble. The ensemble, founded in 2013 under the direction of methodologist Valentina Egunkova, brings together village residents of different generations (ages range from 35 to 80).
The ensemble's motto, "Life is like a song," accurately reflects its creative philosophy. The artists regularly:
tour to perform in other villages of the Ryazhsky Municipal District;
participate in the district folk art festival "Small Homeland - Heart of Russia";
delight fellow villagers with a rich repertoire, including folk, lyrical, pop songs, and works by Soviet composers.
Accessibility and Mission
2-Marchukovsky Rural Community Center strives to be as inclusive as possible for all categories of residents. The institution offers an accessible environment, including for people with disabilities.
