1st Marchukovsky Rural House of Culture

In 1974, the distinguished history of the Ryazhsky District House of Culture began. This milestone initiated a series of vibrant cultural events that have united the village community for decades.

A notable chapter in the SДК’s history is the vocal and instrumental ensemble, established in 1976. For 13 years, the artists delivered unforgettable concert programmes to their audiences.

A new phase of development began in 2011, when the House of Culture relocated to the spacious former school building in the village of 1st Marchuki (622 m²).

Today, the SДК is the heart of the village’s cultural life. It hosts:

• thriving creative groups ( «Rukodelnitsa», «Aktivnyy Dosug», «Ekh, Garmon’ Moya»);
• talent development circles for young people ( «Vesёlaya Kistochka», «Umelye Ruchki», «Zvonkie Golosa»);
• vibrant themed evenings, engaging discos, and impressive craft exhibitions;
• community meetings to discuss local issues and meetings with representatives of the district administration.

The House of Culture’s ensembles proudly represent their village at district, inter-district, and regional events, showcasing the creative potential and unity of the Ryazhsky residents.
