The branch of the Noginsk Museum and Exhibition Center opened to the public in June 1999 in a historic building, the former postal station of the county town of Bogorodsk (Noginsk). The post office was opened on June 6, to mark the 100th anniversary of Alexander Pushkin. The exhibition is dedicated to the history of the Vladimirsky tract, the history of the postal station and events related to it.
Bogorodsk postal station is notable for the fact that it was the first stop after Moscow on the Vladimirsky Tract. For example, A.S. Pushkin stopped at the station and changed horses on his trips to Boldino. The exhibition presents household items from the late 19th — early 20th century, a video series tells about the Vladimirsky tract and historical events related to it, about the life of the citizens of Bogorodsk. The collection of everyday life and ethnography, clothes of the late 19th — early 20th century, postcards is presented. Events dedicated to the memory of Alexander Pushkin are held annually on February 10 and June 6. In 2016, the Pushkin Readings project began. On February 10, A.S. Pushkin's prose is heard in the hall.
The branch holds thematic museum exhibitions: decorative and applied, artistic crafts of Russia, thematic local history. Master classes, interactive excursions "Bogorodskoe tea party", and educational film screenings take place here.
