The Aban District Community Center is a significant cultural center, celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2019. It has become a true hub for creativity for district residents, where everyone can find something to enjoy.
The community center is a vibrant creative hub. More than two dozen different club groups operate here, four of which have been awarded the honorary title of "People's Community Center." The institution's special pride is the "Biryusinskie Zori" song and dance ensemble and the "Veteran" choir, directed by Honored Cultural Worker Sergei Smolyarov. Equally renowned are the local "Sibiryak" theater, led by the talented director Olga Stepchenko, and the "Nashi Pesni" pop quartet, directed by Valery Matveyev.
The community center is the main venue for all significant district events. Professional holidays are celebrated here, public festivals are held, and concerts and thematic programs of various genres are organized. The institution actively develops interregional cooperation, regularly hosting major festivals and competitions. Particularly popular are the "Vozrozhdenie" patriotic song festival, the "Silver Rain" children's pop song competition, and theater events.
The Aban District Community Center has become a true magnet for residents of all ages, a place where traditions are preserved, creativity is nurtured, and new cultural projects are created.
