The main milestones of the activity
Creation of the Vereysky Museum of Local Lore. Boris Ilyich was its first director and in fact its founder — he collected funds, built an exhibition, recorded local history. He personally designed the first halls, put his "soul and strength" into the establishment of the institution. The first official exhibition of works by veteran B.N. Kryzhevsky was held under the leadership of B.I. Morozov.
Pedagogy and artistic work. For many years he taught at the Vereisk secondary school, ran an art studio: several professional artists came out of it. He actively wrote, participated in exhibitions, and was involved in architectural and memorial projects.
Public and memorial work. According to his project and with his personal participation, a Memorial Chapel was built in the memorial park of Vereya — in memory of fellow countrymen who did not return from the war. He devoted a lot of effort to preserving the memory of the military history of the city and its ancient traditions.
Confession. In 1996, Boris Ilyich was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of the city of Vereya.
